11er Crispy Rosti with Tyrolean Bacon

Ever been on holiday to Tyrol? No? Then allow us to tempt you there with its flavours. Because this combination is unbeatable! Mildly smoke-dried bacon refined with our unique Crispy Rosti; just like home-made - that's how we conjure up a portion of traditional Tyrolean fare directly onto your plate. Whether as a side dish with crispy lettuce or perhaps as pièce de résistance with a fresh fried egg.

 

Recommendation: Prepare the frozen product golden yellow according to the preparation instructions. Please do not brown the product too much. For smaller quantities reduce preparation time accordingly.

 

Do not refreeze after thawing!


Fan-assisted oven

Preheat oven to 180 °C . Evenly spread the frozen rosti single layer on a baking tray and bake for approx. 18 - 23 minutes until golden yellow.

Pan

Heat a little bit of oil in a pan and fry the frozen rosti at low to medium heat for approx. 3 minutes on both sides until golden yellow. Our Tip: Remove excess fat with kitchen paper!

Oven

Preheat oven to 200 °C. Bake for approx. 20 - 25 minutes until golden yellow. Turn over halfway through. Our Tip: We recommend the use of baking paper!

Grill

11er Rösti are ideal for a barbecue. The preparation depends on the barbecue.

Air fryer

Preheat to 200°C. Place the frozen rösti single layer in the frying basket and fry for approx. 6-10 minutes until golden yellow. The preparation time depends on the deep fryer. Shake the basket it repeatedly.
