Our polenta thalers of finest corn meal taste really great. 11er Polentini are not only an exquisite side dish for tender roast meat. Fried to a golden brown and tossed in caramelized sugar the polentini are a sweet delicacy which make every gourmet's heart jump for joy.


Pan

Heat up some margarine or vegetable fat in the frying pan. Fry the slightly thawed polenta medallions for approx. 6 - 8 minutes until crispy, carefully turning it occasionally.

Combisteamer (steam)

Place the frozen polenta medallions equally on a perforated plate and steam for 8 - 10 minutes at 85 °C.

Deep fryer

Place the frozen polenta medallions in preheated frying fat /oil (170 - 180 °C) and fry for approx. 4 - 6 minutes until golden brown.

Microwave

Moisten the frozen polenta medallions with lots of water. Place on a plate suitable for use in the microwave and heat as follows: 3 pieces/750 - 800 W/approx. 3 min. 6 pieces/750 - 800 W/approx. 5 min. 9 pieces/750 - 800 W/approx. 8 min. Heat thoroughly before consumption! Do not refreeze after thawing!
