11er Rosti Toast


Potato rosti with ham and processed cheese, Rösti - prebaked in sunflower oil - deep frozen, individually wrapped

Fine ham and delicate melting cheese inside a crispy coat of potato rosti. 11er Rosti Toast is the star of every "small plates menu". Served with crunchy fresh lettuce the combination of crispy potato rosti, ham and cheese is a delicious main course.


Fan-assisted oven

Preheat oven to 180 °C. Remove foil. Place the frozen rosti onto a baking tray and bake for approx. 27 - 30 minutes until golden yellow.

Combisteamer

Remove foil. Preheat the combi-steamer to 180 °C. Cook the frozen Rosti - Toasts for approx. 25 minutes until they are golden yellow.

Oven

P reheat o ven t o 200 °C and bake for approx. 27 - 30 minutes until golden yellow.

Pan

Remove foil. Fry the defrosted* Rosti - Toasts with a little fat at a low to medium heat. With a cover on the pan, fry each side for about 4 minutes. Carefully turn the Rosti - Toasts with a spatula. At the end, fry the uncovered Rosti - Toasts for approx. 1 more minute until golden yellow.

Clam shell style toaster

Remove foil. Fry the defrosted* Rösti-Toasts at medium heat for about 7 - 10 minutes until they are golden yellow. *Defrosting in the microwave: Remove foil. 1 piece approx. 2 minutes at 750 - 900 watts. For each additional piece heat for another 1 ½ minutes. After half of the thawing time, carefully turn Rosti-Toasts once. Do not refreeze after thawing!
